Step 3: Decide on Your Business
Now you should have about enough information to build upon your own business plan. In this step you are going to think about three kinds of businesses you and your partner would like to run and make a choice out of those three.
First, read the information about 'If You Have Not Yet Decided on a Business' on MyOwnBusiness.org.
After that, fill in a similar table together with your partner, as follows:
1. Think of three businesses that you both like.
2. Create your table, just like in the activity on 'MyOwnBusiness.org', in word or excel and put the
businesses of your choice in that table OR use the downloadable sheet ‘Decide your business’
3. Rate each business and choose the one with the most points.
4. Write a short report on the outcome of the sheet ‘Decide your business’. Also write down, if you
don't agree with the outcome, what and why would you choose instead.
